Our tour company is affiliated with our retail store in Payson
called Hike, Bike, & Run. Hike, Bike, & Run is a full service bicycle
shop, skate shop, kayak and outdoor store right in Payson proper.
We opened our retail store in the fall of 2007 with the immediate
intent to branch out into offering tours. It's taken us the better part
of two years to get our retail store established, but things have
gone well thus far, and hopefully for 2010, we can tie our tour
company and retail store together to offer you a well-rounded, full
service outfitter that services all of Payson's Rim Country.
Considering we opened our retail store as the economy went
downhill, we know it's not the smartest move to expand while
everything is still so volatile. If we went out and purchased a
couple of 15 passenger vans and outfitted them to the bone, it
could ruin us if Rim Country Touring bombed. We know this, but
we also know Payson's Rim Country has too much potential to
pass up the opportunity to give it a try. Our goal will be to start
small and slowly build up a very diverse year around adventure
tour company. In due time we will expand to offer more tours,
longer trips, and better services.
